HEADS UP! ENTER WHICH BRACES CROSS WITH WHICH IN COMMENTS, AT CHECKOUT
ATTN: THE NEW SYSTEM OF BRACES DOESN'T USE SLOTS AND LIGHTWEIGHT BRACES!
IT'S SIMPLE, COMPLETE THE FRAME FACE-UP & PLACE BRACE(S) CENTRALIZED,
THEN SECURE EACH END WITH 2 STAPLES
SLOTS COMPROMISED THE BARS, WHILE THE NEW SYSTEM IS FASTER & MUCH STRONGER!
3/4" Braces - STF (Only One Cross Intersection Allowed)
Braces will reduce bowing from the pull of canvas on longer bars.
Below 30" a cross brace is not required.
Important: When ordering braces, you use the the short side, not the long side
You don't have to measure inside dimensions, we've already taken that into consideration.
If you chose to couple the intersection of crossing bars, use a 5/8" Truss screw as in the photo.
Example: If you had a 40"x20" stretcher bar frame and you decided to place a cross brace midway between the 40" bars, you would choose a 20" cross brace. It's that simple.
Important: If your braces need to cross, we must know which ones cross! So, be sure to list your request in the comments box at checkout.
Cross braces are sold in units of one, not in pairs.
